Flammkraft

Flammkraft is a Germany-based manufacturer of premium gas grills and outdoor cooking equipment, which entered the market in 2017. The journey starting when the two engineers and founders, Manuel Lasar and Knud Augustin, were unable to find the right barbecue for themselves, so built their own – the Block D.

Flammkraft grills, now available for the first time in the UK, use infrared ceramic burners as the heat source. The intense heat radiation generated by the glowing ceramic elements is comparable to that of glowing charcoal, combined with the more precise heat control of a gas grill. The cross-positioning of the main burners allows for flexible usage with variable temperature zones, offering both direct and indirect heat.

The integrated sear burner, besides its function for intense searing at up to 900°C, can also be used for cooking with a wok, pan or teppanyaki plate. Additionally, it serves as an indirect heat source for the main grill surface, enabling low and slow cooking starting from 75°C.

The brand-new Generation 5 of the Block D has introduced the OfenDock concept. In combination with flip-up grates, two sturdy stainless-steel containers form the OfenDock, with Flammkraft barbecues coming with cast stainless steel grates. Accessories include a rotisserie and pizza stone and the barbecues are available as both standalone units and built-in models, with the design flexibility to switch.
