Flamery, a bold, new name in the world of outdoor cooking… But who are we?

Born in the heart of North Yorkshire, Flamery is rooted in over three decades of manufacturing expertise. The journey began in 1989 with Rack Systems, a family run British business that specialises in the design and manufacture of office and commercial furniture products. Operating as an OEM, Rack has quietly earned its reputation by supplying some of the biggest names in business, as well as schools and universities across the UK. In May 2021, the company took a step forward with the launch of Shelved, its first e-commerce direct-to-consumer brand. Shelved offers a premium, modular shelving system that originated as a commercial office product but was reimagined for the home. 

Building on the success of both Rack Systems and Shelved, the team turned its engineering expertise toward a new frontier: outdoor cooking. Combining decades of craftsmanship with a passion for food and fire, Flamery was born.

Flamery grills are inspired by the age-old traditions of Argentinian Asado but designed for the modern British backyard. The grills feature a modular design, with height-adjustable cooking surfaces and fireboxes, allowing users to customise their setup. Adding to the grill’s versatility is an innovative, insulated stainless-steel lined lid that not only shields against the unpredictable British weather but also transforms the grill into a smoker or pizza oven. 

Every Flamery grill is designed and built in-house at the company's comprehensively equipped, 60,000 sq ft Kirkbymoorside facility. Benefiting from investments in state-of-the-art machinery by Rack Systems, our parent company, we ensure that everything we produce is of superior quality—no middlemen here.
